What this site actually does with data

Last updated 27 September 2026

Short version: there's no account, no sign-up, and no email address collected anywhere on CryptoFumble. What follows is the honest long version — what's stored in your browser, what anonymous usage analytics record, and what the optional Telegram bot needs.

What's stored in your browser

These live only in your browser's local storage. They're never sent to any server automatically, and they disappear if you clear your browser's site data:

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics (GA4) and Yandex Metrica to understand aggregate visits and feature usage. Events can include completing a calculation, opening a tool, or clicking an affiliate button. For an affiliate click, the event may include the partner, site language, button placement, scenario, coin symbol, device type, link position, page path, and whether the link used a first-party redirect. It does not include your name, email, wallet address, portfolio balance, amount invested, or calculation result. Google's privacy policy and Yandex's privacy policy explain how those providers process analytics data. Ad blockers and browser tracking protection may prevent these events, and the site still works normally.

The Telegram bot (optional)

If you tap "Connect Telegram notifications" in My Portfolio, your portfolio entries are sent to CryptoFumble's server and held briefly (about 15 minutes) behind a one-time code. Sending that code to @CryptoFumble_bot links your portfolio snapshot to your Telegram chat ID, so the bot can send you a weekly profit/loss digest. That's the only piece of identifying information involved — no phone number, no name, no Telegram username beyond what Telegram itself hands over as your chat ID. If you never use this button, none of this happens.

Affiliate links

Buttons that point to a crypto platform are affiliate links, disclosed beside the relevant block. CryptoFumble records only the click context described above. Once you leave the site, the platform's own privacy policy and cookies apply. CryptoFumble cannot see whether you register, deposit, trade, or what happens in your account.

What's never collected

No passwords, no wallet addresses, no API keys, no real names, no payment details. There's nothing to collect them with — CryptoFumble has no login and never asks for one.

Changes to this page

If what the site collects changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change with it.
